The Obenyah Foundation (TOF) is an NGO which works to improve the lives of people and communities plagued by poverty, ignorance, diseases and lack of economic opportunities with specially designed interventions in education, health and economic empowerment.
TOF plans to mark this year’s Breast Cancer Month with a number of health promotion activities in the Tema West Municipal and Ningo Prampram District Assemblies in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. The specific health promotion activities to be organized include, Registration and renewal of NHIS Cards for needy residents, breast cancer awareness campaign and breast cancer & general health screening health advisory and provision of medicines.

This forms the foundations health promotion activities which it has been undertaking in its operations over the years. For instance, the foundation registered and procured health insurance cards for over 300 hundred residents in 2019, supported vulnerable residents during the COVID-19 pandemic - provided PPE, food handouts, and hand sanitizers.
